Bratwurst!

Haven't updated this blog for ages! Today is the last day in 2005, and I decided to update this blog before moving to 2006.

Well, last month we flew to Germany, familie besuch. Anyway, one of the main attractions is bratwurst. We love -or to be exact- adore wurst and promised ourselves that we have to have bratwurst. We have already talked about it couple of weeks before our departure. And every time we talked about it, saliva started building inside our mouth. Nett-nett, we carved for bratwurst, and there is one somewhat famous bratwurst stall not so far from where we stayed.

So without hesitation we queued in front of the stall, waiting to be served. We ordered bratwurst and currywurst. The sausages were packed and ready to go.

We started with currywurst with bread. Sliced sausage dipped in dark brown sauce. The sauce was a bit sweet with stong taste that came from the yellowish curry powder. It was great. We ate like mad, at least I ate like mad. She likes bratwurst better. More likely because of the curry sauce.

Next, we turned to the bratwurst. The wurst was juicy and tender, the dark-yellowed mustard was bitter and strong. It was delicious; especially when you eat it in cold early winter weather.

Main result: fully satisfied.
