Hidden Angel at Queen St

One of the art piece that exhibited in Singapore Biennale is this hidden angel. When we first saw the piece, it was just a block of white stuff, just like a huge beancurd. The artist (Alwar Balasubramaniam) placed an angel inside this white cocoon. The cocoon is made from some-chemical-stuff-that-you-can-not-remember-nor-pronounce, that will desolve slowly each day due to some chemical reaction with air. It was made that way so by the end of biennale, the cocoon will be completely gone and the angel will be completely revealed. Then when we return couple of weeks later it started to desolve and parts of the scupture was shown. Cool rite?
