Ugly Yucky Babies

It is Bassett's Jelly Babies. Judging from the name and packaging, I thought this is just like my favorite gelatin snack Haribo. Cute little chewy, bit sour, sweet but not too sweet kinda jelly. But alas, when I open it everything is different! The babies are ugly, oddly shaped, thick and dull colored. Yes, dull and uninteresting colors such as dark yellow, dark orange and black. I thought this jelly supposed to be fun and happy snack!
Then I pop one into my mouth. Yuck. Not chewy at all. And sweet. Enough sugar to keep kids running around in the park non-stop for one whole day. Blah! Nothing compares with my Haribo.
