Kecemon

Kecemon. Weird word, isn't it? This word actually refers to one of my favorite dessert, which is kecemon. It is made from casava, coconut, sugar and a bit of salt. First they shred and steam the casava (with a pinch of salt), then springkle sugar to give a bit of sweet taste. Then at the end put in shreded coconut on top. If any one knows different names for it, lemme know ya! Back home I used to buy this dessert at wet market, and my colleague used to bring it to office to share. She is the one that told me the name of this shredded steam casava. And seems no one can provide other name, so I refer it as kecemon. Today the yummy kecemon is available thanks to my friend's visiting mum!
